Once a fortnight, Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings invite their esteemed guests to join them for an evening of spirit tasting and boozy exploration. For the summer series of ‘The Handbook’, B&H have called upon respected industry experts to enthuse about drinks from the likes of artisan Cyder to Italian Grappa and to introduce inquisitive guests to their unique flavours and fascinating heritage.
The evening will be a caper around the beautiful B&H Buildings: the evening will commence with a welcome aperitifstyle cocktail in the beautiful bar and guests will then venture upstairs to the brand new B&H Kitchen for an insightful tasting of the host spirit lead by an ambassador from the brand. Guests will then descend into the atmospheric Below & Hidden to try their hand at cocktail making using the spirit of the night. The evening will conclude with a disgestif cocktail in the bar to mull over the evening’s discoveries. Guests may then while away the rest of the evening in the beautiful bar or continue boozy contemplation over dinner in the restaurant.
These informal and interactive sessions will furnish guests with a deeper knowledge of, greater intrigue for, the studied spirits. The Handbook events will be taking place fortnightly on Tuesday evenings and will cover the below:
Brooks & Conquest – Putting the Y back in Cyder – 7th June 2016

World of Whiskey – Wild West to the Far East – 21st June 2016

With spirits from India, America and Japan, the evening will demonstrate the incredible variety of excellent liquids currently available.
