Next week, Edgerton Pink Gin will launch the world’s inaugural Pink Gin Day on Thursday 3rd August 2017 in London. To celebrate the day, the world’s first pink gin, Edgerton, will be partnering with a selection of pubs and bars across the UK to showcase an array of unique pink gin cocktails. In addition, Edgerton Pink Gin will be encouraging Brits to wear pink whilst getting creative at home, crafting their own bespoke rosetinted cocktails.
On a mission to make the capital blush, Edgerton Pink Gin have also joined with the UK’s leading online drinks vendor 31Dover.com, which will be offering a special Pink Gin Day discount on its website to everyone taking part and purchasing a 70cl bottle of Edgerton Pink Gin.
Martin Edgerton Gill, the founder of Edgerton Pink Gin, explains why he is excited to be the first gin to launch a day in the UK’s seasonal calendar, to celebrate the uniqueness of pink. “Whilst superb taste in a glass is key to the long-term success of a liquor brand, colour really works and has created a greater interest in the gin category. Pink Gin Day creates a platform for us to showcase our craft and bring people together to enjoy our distinctive pink gin for a day”.
For those wanting to celebrate Pink Gin Day at home, Edgerton Pink Gin suggest trying the easy to make, delicious Pink French 69 and Pink Collins cocktails. In addition, Edgerton propose adding either thin slices of red apple, pomegranate seeds, raspberries or strawberries and mint to a classic G&T, for a Pink Gin Day twist.
