Fellowes states that their air purifiers: “Improve your indoor home and office air quality using PlasmaTrue™ technology which safely removes 99.97% of airborne pollutants as small as 0.3 microns.”
“The air inside your home or office can contain up to 5 times more air pollution than the outdoors. Studies show that indoor air pollutants are responsible for half of all illnesses. Cleaning the air in your home and office can provide the solution to these invisible problems!”
The Fellowes AeraMax air purifier has a user-friendly touchscreen which s simple and intuitive to operate. Lights change from amber to red to show how polluted the air is in the room. There is also a function to boost the removal of allergens, viruses and germs during peak allergy and cold/flu seasons. The fan speed can be adjusted manually or set to automatic to adapt to the surrounding environment. A built in handle makes the unit easily portable.
The 4-stage purification system consists of a carbon air filter which removes odours, gases and chemical fumes. The carbon filter is protected by Sanitized® Technology which reduces the development of bacteria, fungi, and dust mites on the carbon filter itself. HEPA filters capture very small air particles like dust, mould spores and pet dander. The fourth and final stage uses PlasmaTRUE™ Technology which safely removes airborne pollutants and gets air cleaner at the molecular level, instantly neutralizing viruses and germs in the air.
