Mark Taylor Design, the prestigious British manufacturer of superlative bespoke furniture, cabinetry and specialist joinery is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the unveiling of a chic, new brand identity and the opening of an interior design studio at its Buckinghamshire HQ.
Mark Taylor Design works with private residential as well as commercial clients nationwide and is renowned for its use of innovative materials and finishes balancing functional planning with inspirational design to transform clients’ homes into truly unique spaces. The company’s new-look logo features a more simplified, contemporary and streamlined design and will be displayed on Mark Taylor Design’s stand at the first Pub in the Park festival, which is taking place in its hometown of Marlow from 19-21st May.
Managing Director Mark Taylor, who heads a highly experienced team of design engineers and interior designers, founded the company, which specialises in bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, studies, bars, staircases and individual furniture pieces. Mark is the driving creative force behind Mark Taylor Design with more than 30 years’ interior, furniture design and manufacturing experience. So, looking to the future it seemed fitting to celebrate our 20th anniversary with the unveiling of a fresh, new and contemporary brand identity. Mark Taylor Design were recently shortlisted for the Living Space – UK award in the design et al International Design & Architecture Awards 2017 for the transformation of a living space into a stunning, bespoke Art Deco-inspired bar and relaxing room.
Last year, the company launched an interior design and sourcing division and now offers a complete project management service for clients. Its expanded offering includes lighting expertise, space planning, and advice on security services, landscape gardening and exterior extensions, and much more.
Mark Taylor Design is also championing the kitchen industry’s quest to raise standards among the next generation of designers with the provision of a scholarship for a student on the Foundation Degree Course in Kitchen Design at Buckinghamshire New University. The provision of the scholarship is in conjunction with The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET), a registered charity that acts as an intermediary for the kitchen sector in the award of scholarships for the Foundation Degree Course.
