From personalising t-shirts to trainers, YR now offers an online mask personalisation service too which is also available for a limited time at Selfridges, the world’s best department store.
YR recently teamed up with Selfridges bringing you the world’s only in-store face mask personalisation experience. This allows customers to design their very own mask in a matter of minutes and have it printed live right in front of them all for just £8.
This experience is available for a limited time only! The YR Masks pop-up will run until 27th September 2020 exclusive to Selfridges Oxford Street – found on the ground floor, next to Fendi.
You have the option to choose from a variety of colours, quirky stickers and patterns – you can really have some fun with it. There is something for everyone – whether you want to keep it minimalistic or stand out from the crowd. It is a great way to match with outfits making it a must-have accessory. At the pop-up there is even more to choose from including adding text!
These masks are a triple threat: fun, fashionable and functional. Its style and substance – you get the best of both worlds with all masks meeting WHO guidelines. They are practical and comfortable made from a double-layer fabric, with the inner layer being 100% breathable cotton and the outer layer is ‘performance fabric with superior wicking’ (polyester). The masks feature elasticated straps but the fit is not as snug around the face as we would have liked.
Tim Williams, company co-founder, believes face coverings are here to stay, “COVID-19 has been an unexpected challenge for the retail industry and we are one of many businesses affected. But we have seen a 200% increase in enquiries for the YR platform from fashion and accessory brands and I predict the pandemic will not only drive demand for face coverings now, but it will be the must-have fashion accessory of the future”.
