Stunning Views & Superb Service at Park Plaza County Hall London

Chic bedrooms, plush furnishings and a lively drinks terrace await guests at Park Plaza County Hall London, as the central London hotel completes its multi-million-pound refurbishment.

A stone’s throw away from some of the capital’s most famous attractions, the final stage of the family-friendly hotel’s refurbishment has seen the addition of a newly refreshed terrace at its destination restaurant, Atrio Restaurant & Bar, complementing stylish updates to all 399 rooms and suites within the hotel.

Conveniently located between Waterloo and Westminster Bridge stations, the hotel is perfect for those sightseeing their way around London; within walking distance of the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the South Bank Centre, guests needn’t go far to experience the best of the Big Smoke.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful right from the start of your stay checking in to the hotel at Reception.

Reflecting the hotel’s location on the South Bank, guests are greeted by the hotel’s signature colour combination of blue and metallic hues throughout all 14 floors.

For the ultimate break, the hotel’s refurbished penthouses offer spectacular views across London – an unbeatable backdrop to your stay in the city.

Imagine waking up in this fabulous Penthouse bedroom with its uninterrupted views of the city skyline.

The views from the Penthouse balcony will take your breath away.

Mr Sloan and Mini Sloan enjoyed time on the balcony with a stunning view of London in the background.

Park Plaza County Hall boasts some of the best views of any London hotel. Here’s the view of the London Eye.

Mini Sloan couldn’t wait to get out of his stroller to take a stroll on the balcony and enjoy the view.

If you want to see London from the ideal vantage point, you’ll love the views from the hotel. Here’s Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

What an amazing view of the London Eye from our suite. It’s a good thing Mini Sloan isn’t afraid of heights!

After taking in the views, it was time to check out the welcome gifts from the team at Park Plaza County Hall.

I think Mini Sloan approves of the lovely food & drink welcoming us to Park Plaza.

And just like Goldilocks, Mini Sloan went from tasting the food to trying out the bed but luckily met a friendly elephant rather than an angry family of bears!

Hello Ellie Elephant! Mini Sloan goes in for a hug.

Mini Sloan then discovered the “Park Plaza Cash” for him to spend in the hotel on little treats. We love this kid-friendly idea.

After a visit to the London Aquarium with his grown-ups, Mini Sloan returned to the suite for a chillax with his CBeebies friends. Can you spot the cuddly clownfish?

Mini Sloan loves art and made the most of the colouring in supplies provided by the kid-friendly Park Plaza team.

Atrio Restaurant & Bar offers a sanctuary from which to watch the world go by over delicious food and drinks with friends. The bar and terrace menu features a variety of small and main plates, including truffle mac and cheese, corn-fed chicken saltimbocca, stone-baked pizzas, as well as a selection of plant-based plates including pumpkin and sage tortellini, aubergine and vegan feta rigatoni plus a delicious vegan halloumi burger.

On the cosy terrace, guests can enjoy a selection of beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The newly refreshed terrace offers an up-close and personal view of Central London from within the comfort of the covered space. Diners and drinkers can relax on comfy sofas with cushions and gold accents under a sheltered clear covering that lets the light in, with cosy blankets for when the temperature dips a little. Paying homage to the iconic street art of the Leake Street Tunnel, just around the corner from the hotel, the terrace also features a specially-commissioned graffiti piece that adds even more personality.

Atrio Restaurant offers a selection of seriously tasty contemporary dishes in a modern and relaxed setting. The menu features sumptuous dishes such as roasted fennel with crispy polenta chips providing delicious options for all types of diners.

The Bread Basket boasts a varied selection with everything from poppy seed rolls to breadsticks.

From the Small Bites Menu, these Tomato & Mozzarella Arancini are a great way to cut the appetite before Starters arrive.

From the Kids Menu, this delicious Garlic Bread starter is available with or without cheese.

From the A La Carte Starters Menu, Grilled Garlic & Chilli Prawns is a deceptively simple dish that tastes delicious.

The Rabbit and Pistachio Terrine – also from the Starters Menu – comes with pancetta, raspberry vinegar, tarragon, carrots and sourdough bread.

For Mains, Seafood Linguine features prawns, crab, tomatoes, chilli and garlic.

Carnivores will love this Dry-aged Ribeye Steak served with a red wine jus accompanied by hand-cut chips and a Rocket & Parmesan garnish.

Sides include moreish Zucchini Fries.

For those with a sweet tooth, desserts include Dark Chocolate & Almond Cake served with pistachio ice cream.

For his kids dessert, Mini Sloan chose the Chocolate Fudge Cake served with whipped cream (or ice cream).

Speaking of which, grown-ups or their little ones can’t go wrong with a simple dish of delicious ice cream ordered off menu!

After a very comfortable night, Park Plaza County Hall offers a lovely setting to enjoy a satisfying hotel breakfast with lots of variety and choices to cater for all tastes.
