Blush + Blow in Fulham was founded by Bridget O’Keeffe, beauty blogger, entrepreneur and one of London’s sought after makeup artists. Her mission in opening the blow dry salon and beauty bar was to create a space for the ladies of SW6 and beyond with excellent customer service, value for money and a unique experience filled with fun.
As a Fulham resident herself, Bridget knew exactly what was missing in SW6 for the beauty needs of its residents and visitors and so the creation of Blush + Blow was masterminded to fill the gap with the mission statement to provide an accessible, world-class experience for guests in a fun, friendly and professional manner. The salon also encourages a family atmosphere with a culture centred around service excellence and guest satisfaction.
Bridget’s mantra is ‘Blow-dries are a girl’s best friend’ and with a background in beauty, she decided to fuse the two together and open Blush + Blow on New King’s Road in Fulham. So for those living or working in SW6, there is now a one-stop shop for all your beauty, blow-dry and skincare needs.
Following her visit to Blush + Blow, celebrity life coach Sloan Sheridan-Williams commented, “When you have a busy working day, you don’t always have time to pop home before a night out. That’s when visiting a blow dry bar can be a perfect pit stop to a long day, especially if you are a 5am Club member like me.
“What I love about Blush + Blow is the versatility of their service at affordable prices. They have a monthly Unlimited Blow-Dries package which works out as an extremely reasonable service for those who have time to get a blow dry almost every day if they wanted. They also have packages for loyal customers who perhaps want to frequent the salon once a week.
“I opted for the tighter curls blow dry and am pleased to say that although they obviously dropped due to the weight of my hair, the blow dry itself could be styled the next day to still give bounce and even looked fresh enough the morning after that.
“The downside is that there isn’t a lookbook as such, but that’s because the stylists can do pretty much any style you need, just bring a picture on your phone. A really pleasant experience, super quick turnaround and even got a trim too!”
